I’m sorry to be making this post. My best friend Kodi, the White German Shepard found in my photos, became very sick Christmas Day. He was taken to the vet on the Friday following Christmas and after a rigorous exam spanning the weekend it was discovered that he had developed kidney issues.
Attempts were made to treat the problem but instead of getting better he actually got worse. All options for a treatment were exhausted quickly and still he continued to get worse.
On New Years Eve I was left with only one option that was a treatment requiring 3 weeks to administer. Sadly, the vet determined we didn’t have three weeks and Kodi was in so much distress that we decided it was best to put him down.
I’m going to miss him so much. He was my constant companion.
