Building An Unshakable Foundation

Is there something shaking your foundation in your life right now?

Does life seem to be forcing major changes all around you?

When this happens it can make us feel fear, insecurity and sometimes even shock.

We so often feel secure in our lives when the outer situations make us feel secure. But that security is an illusion as many of you have come to find out. We feel comforted by our “rocks”, our home, our relationships, our job, our financial situation. But what happens when one of those rocks starts shifting or disappears altogether? All of those “rocks” can not give you a true and unshakable foundation. Why do you think it is so hard on us when any of those rocks changes?

In the last couple of years many of my old, steady “rocks” have disappeared. I know what it’s like, when this happens it can feel like we lost our foundation. It can be unsettling and scary.

An ADD-friendly Method for Clutter Busting

If you’re like many adults with Attention Deficit Disorder, then you’ve got clutter problems! You’ve read books, watched TV shows, and tried numerous times to get rid of the clutter. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. When it does work, the clutter seems to magically reappear within days. It’s frustrating and stressful.

You’re not alone. Many adults with ADD find themselves stressed out and frustrated by an inability to manage their physical spaces.

Don’t blame yourself and don’t beat yourself up. If it was really easy to manage your clutter, you would have done it a long time ago! That said, however, I’ve found that ADDers often make getting rid of their clutter a much more difficult task than it needs to be.

When it comes to tackling clutter, it’s important to realize that a great deal of the clutter-clearing strategies out there just aren’t ADD-friendly.

Emotional Body Language in a Job Interview
Research on emotional body language is rapidly emerging as a new field in cognitive and affective neuroscience. This article reviews how whole-body signals are automatically perceived an understood, and their role in emotional communication and decision-making in a job interview
www.BodyLanguageaCards.com

More than 90% of the job interview is conveyed by non-verbal means. You did all the homework for your interview. You know everything about the company, their vision, management style, what skills you have that would benefit this company, and where you expect your career to be in 10 years. Briefly you know all the correct answers to 249 interview questions, but at the end of the day what really counts is the main question: did you have good chemistry?

The Law of Attraction and The Law of Receiving

Posted by mallton on March 25th, 2009

The Law of Receiving is one of Bob Proctor and Mary Morrissey’s 11 Forgotten Laws. The 11 Forgotten Laws is a program and study course based upon Raymond Holliwell’s book Working With The Law.

Some what of a surprising message is this Law of Receiving. (That’s Yoda-speak for, The Law of receiving has a surprising message.) In order to receive you must first give. Most people, myself included, have always been of the mind that you must get before you can give. In my mind I have always figured when I hit the big time I will then be able to give more in charitable contributions. Habitat for Humanity is my personal favorite. I donate sporadically. But according to this Law of Receiving the giving must come first. As Raymond Holliwell states giving, “is the first law of all creation.” I believe it was the creators of the Chicken Soup For The Soul series whom I have seen giving a seminar on the benefits of giving. Considering the astounding success of their books, I am thinking they must know of what they speak. But I must say, I didn’t really get it then. I did not really get it in the Law of Attraction sort of way. Giving opens up an avenue for receiving.

The Power of Belief

Posted by mallton on March 24th, 2009

Wise people say that adversity or crisis provides the best school for learning. Sometimes lessons hard-learned are best remembered.

At times like this it is our beliefs that can either make or break us.

Likewise, if you truly believe you can achieve something, your mind will help you to achieve and win. On the other hand if you are weak and uncertain, you will set yourself up to lose.

If you are aware of the amazing power of belief and understand how to channel this power effectively, you can reach your desired destiny.

Your Success is Your Conscious Choice

When you choose to believe in whatever you pursue, your brain sends your body powerful signals of confidence.

Most people go through life without realising that this is a powerful mechanism.

- Develop your beliefs and nurture them
- Discard the negative and reinforce the positive

Although they may be subliminal, beliefs are reflected in your attitude and actions. Believe strongly in your success, your beliefs will empower you to achieve that success.
