Ways to Help Reduce Debt to Stop Unnecessary Foreclosures

Posted by mallton on September 18th, 2009

Many of us have lots of various expenses everyday. Some expenses can no longer be covered by our daily income so we get loans to solve the problem. Loans can solve problems on financial needs but paying it can sometimes be depressing especially if the interest rates are so high. If we are unable to pay it promptly before or on deadline, we will surely be buried with debts. Having large debts can be frustrating and stressing. In the end when there are no more options left, we become hopeless and problematic.

Yes it is a fact that having large debts is never easy to get away with but debts can actually be reduced. There are many ways to help reduce debt so that we can pay it and avoid any foreclosure of properties or confiscation of assets. Below are some tips and suggestions that you can try to reduce debts.

Debts can have large interest rates especially if payments are made after deadlines. When we can no longer pay for these large interest rates because we are in financial crisis, the first thing to do is to meet up with creditors to discuss this matter. We can negotiate with our creditors to give us discount or ample time to pay for our debts. This may seem impossible but there are money lenders that are considerate of their debtor’s situation. If others will not consider our reason, we cannot do anything about it but still, there is no harm in trying.

Another thing that can help reduce debt is by paying for full interest rates early in order to stop it from growing. It doesn’t matter if we cannot pay fully the monthly installments as long as we prevent the debts from going too high because of interest rates.

Another option to take is to seek work for the debt or provide service. There are actually creditors who give work or tasks to their money borrower’s in order to cover the debts if the borrower cannot compensate for the total debt payment. Other debts can be reduced by being thrifty when purchasing goods. It is best to buy discounted goods or cheap products that have good quality to have a little savings which can be used to pay obligations.

We may have heard of bankruptcy declaration when some lose finances to pay for their debts. Yet declaring bankruptcy does not help much and so it is taken as the last resort. It is still best that we work our way to pay for debts so that we can learn controlling ourselves from spending too much.

Helena Blavatsky: A Short Biography In Spiritual Adventures

Posted by mallton on September 17th, 2009

Madam Blavatsky, born Helena von Hahn, was a free spirit in a time when women were not free to roam the world alone. She dreamt about her teacher of Theosophy at an early age and then met him many years later in London. Weeks before her seventeenth birthday, she was married to a 44 year old man, Vassilievich Blavatsky. This marriage was never consummated according to Madame Blavatsky who claimed to be a virgin even in her later years after a second failed marriage. After three months, she stole a horse and headed for her grandfather’s house in the mountains.

She traveled with a sea captain, went to throughout Europe, Egypt, North America, South America, India and finally spent two years in Tibet where she became Buddhist and learned from them. She renamed this knowledge, Theosophy. She sought to spread the information to the world. During that era, America was alive with a new belief system, started in Rochester, NY. It was spiritualism. Blavatsky fit in perfectly for the times and inclinations in the Eastern United States. She practiced mediumship, levitation, clairvoyance, astral projection and thoughtform, the materialization of objects.

Her biggest feat was the introduction of Theosophy to the world and the huge volumes of books she authored in her lifetime. She traveled throughout the world learning more about the secrets of the inner being. Visits to India and Egypt brought new dimension to her beliefs. Her philosophy entailed the belief that what we see is not real but what is an unseen, thought and mental condition were real. Her quasi religion Theosophy was a plea for religions to drop the rhetoric that separated them and come together for meeting of the minds to help solve the plagues of the human condition.

Madame Blavatsky was not born clairvoyant, telepathic or otherwise special. She learned the gifts from her teachers. Although it was said she was chosen to bring their message to the world, the abilities came from years of training and a thirst for knowledge of the spirit and mental abilities available to all humans. She lived as a citizen of the world and this was reflected by her cremation and the division of her ashes. A third went to her native land, Russia, a third remained in America and finally the last third went her home in India.

There is still great controversy surrounding Madame Blavatsky. Some people believed her to be a fraud that plagiarized materials written by others. The latest belief is that she was a legitimate psychic that wrote the volumes attributed to her. Regardless of which position people believe, all agree that she introduced Eastern philosophy to the Western world and made its citizens aware of the magnificent capabilities of humans.

Fear And Loathing = Celebrity Self-Sabotage

Posted by mallton on September 17th, 2009

What is it about celebrity that often results in a pattern of self-sabotage and public humiliation? What drives the crash and burn of those who seemingly have everything going for them? Celebrities have success, fame and the financial resources to live a rich delicious life. Why, then, are so many famous people unhappy, addicted to drugs or on a downward spiral spinning out of control as they destroy everything they desire and worked so hard to achieve?

Some will say that the media that shines so much attention on a rising star then engages in a feeding frenzy to knock the celebrity off the very pedestal they placed her on. It is true that in the days of competitive 24-hour news channels and entertainment tabloid television shows the media is hungry for scintillating celebrity stories that will pull in ratings. However, the media did not take the drugs, pick up the hooker, have a public temper tantrum or end up in jail for one reason or another. The celebrity behaved badly; made bad choices that resulted in unwanted or even humiliating outcomes.

“If it’s never our fault, we can’t take responsibility for it. If we can’t take responsibility for it, we’ll always be its victim.” – Richard Bach

The choices you make in life are based on your perception of yourself, your world and what’s possible for you in that world. The egoic behavior often exhibited by famous people is often a means to hide inner insecurity. Some celebrities feel like a imposters, feel like they are frauds and it’s only a matter of time before the public and their peers find out that they really aren’t good, smart or talented enough. Or they don’t believe that they deserve all the attention and wealth thrust upon them. What the public sees as arrogance, then, is often masked low self-esteem. Self-loathing guarantees a path of self-destruction. You only have to look as far as the lives of Michael Jackson, Anna Nicole Smith, Mariah Carey, and Mel Gibson to see examples of stars crumbling their careers and reputations with their bizarre behavior.

“Whether you think you can or think you can’t, you’re right!” – Henry Ford

Simply put, if you think you are a fraud; if you think you are not worthy, you will unconsciously work very hard to bring yourself back down to a level of experience that matches who and what you think you are. You will Find Excuses And Reasons (F.E.A.R.) that will justify even the most bizarre incidents of behavior. “What was I thinking?” you will lament. Exactly, what were you thinking? What was the thought that resulted in the action that created the incident of self-sabotage?

Once you examine the thoughts that create your outcomes you will be able to reframe these thoughts to turn them into a structure that supports rather than undermines you. If you think you are a fraud with little or no real talent focus upon your moments of brilliance, when you have creatively expressed your full potential. Those are those enjoyable moments when you are ‘in the zone’ firing on all cylinders in the throws of doing what you love to do. If you think you do not deserve the abundance of wealth and/or opportunity you have, focus upon all that you have achieved. Just getting up every day and following your dream is an achievement! Learn how to love yourself unconditionally so you can accept the love and adoration shone upon you.

“Don’t become a victim of yourself. Forget about the thief waiting in the alley; what about the thief in your mind?” – Jim Rohn

What is the best way of preventing snoring-preventing snoring

Snoring Is More Than Annoying!
by Christian Goodman

Whether you want to know about why people snore or find ways to cure it, you’ll find information without having to search very hard. Given the number of people who snore, it’s no wonder that it is a very popular topic.

But unless you’ve ever been caught sitting in a crowded airport terminal on a Friday afternoon, waiting to catch a delayed flight home with your head thrown back, your mouth gaping wide while children sit around your feet laughing uncontrolled, well, you just haven’t fully understood the embarrassment that snoring can bring to your life.

Attempting a restful plane ride seems reasonable enough, until you realize that everyone around you was either annoyed or having a laugh during your slumber.

Those who live with us may be accustomed to our snoring. However, they do not – cannot – understand the mortifying feelings the snorer himself.

Does anything really compete with having to be jostled or tapped by someone when we’re making a spectacle of ourselves in a crowded situation?

Knowing that you’ve been disruptive is miniscule when compared to the humiliation of actually being caught. And the piano recitals, the high school graduations, weddingsthere is simply no end to the indignity that a snorer must suffer.

What are our options to avoid this? Tons of caffine to become a jittery mess instead of a noise maker? Just staying home?

Maybe you can find the most uncomfortable position possible to ensure that you stand absolutely no chance of dozing when you’re in any public situation. Or perhaps you can just commit yourself to forever avoiding churches, chairs, or warm auditoriums.

The Stop Snoring Exercise Program makes it possible to live ’snore-free.’

No matter what the culprit of your snoring is, The Stop Snoring Exercise Program can tackle the problem.

Snoring can be a sound of the past with special exercises that address the problem.

At the same time, you’ll be improving your breathing and increasing respiratory flow. Preparing for ’snoreless sleep’ can take a bit of effort but it can certainly be done with practice.

Sleeping better at night can also prevent the urge to dose during the day. Imagine knowing that you may no longer dose off in public places. Or if you do, it’s much less likely you’ll be caught!

Managing The Fear Of Loneliness

Posted by mallton on September 15th, 2009

Sometime or another we will experience a time when we are alone. The first step is to become comfortable with yourself and having the self-confidence that you will be able to manage being alone. There is nothing wrong with being alone. If being alone bothers you then seeing a counselor can help you with these issues.

In the meantime, here is a short list of techniques that a person can use so that the fear of being alone doesn’t become a major issue in their lives.

The first step is to find an activity that you enjoy and where you can meet a lot of people. For instance, joining a group activity such as a volleyball group, women’s club, or making crafts can be a great way to meet people. Doing something that you like to do will make you happy and will increase your chances of making friends.

Spending time with animals can be a great source of companionship. Having a dog or cat can make us feel loved. If you don’t own a dog or cat, then volunteer at the local animal shelter. Spending time with an animal or pet can help us to feel better and can be of good company to all of us whether we are alone or not.

Helping others through community service can be of some help. There are many people out there who could benefit from your time and talents. Helping others can give you a source of pride, help you feel better about yourself, and can provide long lasting friendships. Give it a try and you will be surprised.

Challenge your negative thinking with positive statements and realistic thinking. When encountering thoughts that make your lonely or depressed, challenge those thoughts by asking yourself questions that will maintain objectivity and common sense. For example, some people may think that if they are alone at the present time then they will always be alone. This is not true. Even if your alone today doesn’t mean that you will be alone all the time. No one can predict the future with one hundred percent accuracy.

It isn’t fun being alone, but sometimes there are worse things. For instance, imagine that you are married or stuck in a relationship that you can’t get out of and also makes you miserable. Not only do you have to live with this person, there is no way to get out of the relationship because of various financial or personal reasons. As a result, you are stuck living with someone that you can’t stand and makes you depressed every single day of your life. With this viewpoint, being alone doesn’t sound that bad.

The important thing is to do something constructive. Sitting around and doing nothing will not make things any better whether it is dealing with the fear of being alone or something else. Go out and do something that you like to do. In addition, take it one day at a time and stay committed in trying to solve your problem.
